We have now stayed MANY times at the Tarntawan, and have NEVER failed to be delighted by the standards we have experienced there.
From our point of view, it is wonderful to see the same members of staff there, year after year, and we are always made to feel so welcome. We hope to keep visiting Bangkok and other parts of this beautiful country for many years to come,and to seeing our friends at the hotel.

I have recently returned from my 35th trip to Thailand and a short stay planned at the Tarntawan Place Hotel turned into five weeks. Of all the hotels I have stayed in during 47 years of worldwide travel I have never stayed at a hotel as splendid in every respect as the Tarntawan Place Hotel. Everything is perfect: the decor in the common areas, court yard and rooms is extremely elegant - the hotel is festooned with beautiful fresh flowers daily and all of the staff always give me such a very warm welcome. The hotel is beautifully quiet and all the extras are designed to make the guests' stay as comfortable as possible - such as free internet access, a 24 hour breakfast service from a very comprehensive menu, no joiner fees and an incomparable atmosphere of welcome, comfort, splendour and charm. Mr Lukas Halberstaat the polyglot proprietor & manager is the personification of the perfect host: witty and charming he always has time for his guests. Additionally Mr Sombat Chomchiey, Resident Manager (along with Mr Lukas) will always go out of his way to assist guests with any help they may require (he sorted out airline tickets for me on more than one occasion) and management and staff alike have perfected a level of service which is unequalled. Last but by no means least the Tarntawan is 100% gay friendly and extremely well situated for the gay traveller. All guests staying at this wonderful hotel benefit from a first class system of security. I will never stay anywhere else when in Bangkok and consider this beautiful hotel to be my home in Thailand.

Thank you so much for your great (no better; amazing and sophisticated) hospitality. I can't think of one stay anywhere on the globe, where I have felt so very much welcome like at your place. The (************)Tarntawan is surely the best place to stay in Bangkok, and I will be back as many times as my schedule will allow it.
